Building an excellent management solution is a five step process:

  1. Consulting - Determining your needs, methodology and timeframe

  2. Understanding a customers needs is essential. Where possible we request to arrange a site visit to see how a customers current solution operates. This way we can offer the best advice for rapid training and implementation, with the least possible impact on the customer.

  3. Compiling - Gathering the data

  4. When a customer has existing "good" data on assets, schedules etc., we can import this directly into Facility Manager for them. Otherwise we can either work with their existing facilities team / contractors or use our own team to gather the required data.

  5. Building - Setting up a solution (EAM) to store and manage the data

  6. Training begins once data starts to become available and we have set up Facility Manager. We use our own system of 'Task Based' training which has proven to be very effective and is provided on an "as required" basis so the customer is not overwhelmed by information not currently required. Training is backed by videos and other materials to ensure the best possible learing experience.

  7. Administering - The day to day management of operations

  8. If the customer is happy with self-administration we will provide support as required. Otherwise if a customer does not have an inhouse team to manage their facilities operations, they can outsource it through Compass AFM.

  9. Analytics - Using information to reduce costs and improve efficiency

  10. The most important part of using Facility Manager is extrapolating information from the data entered. Analytics from Facility Manager data can be used to describe, predict, and improve business performance. Again, Compass AFM can work with your inhouse team or provide this as an outsourced service.
